With the addition of the Alauras' CRM program and Ad Management program, ProofQuick, SalesMagic, and MagicCarpet Mobile, plus many new Internet Publishing versions, Yellow Magic has had one of the busiest product development years ever!

Sales Force Automation on a Cell Phone. Yellow Magic will be introducing another new product named SalesMagic which is a cell phone based sales force automation tool that tracks field sales in REAL TIME and delivers leads and sales appointments to your Sales Staff. The product offers maps and directions and more to help your Sales Staff meet their goals and use their time more efficiently. No more waiting until the end of the day to tally up your new sales, SalesMagic reports live sales figures to your Main Office on a monitor."

12/18/2007 - SalesMagic™, New Sales Automation Tool and New Tech Support Hours
Yellow Magic has extended its office hours for Tech Support to be M-F 6:00 am to 6:00 pm Pacific Time. We hope everyone feels more accommodated around the globe with our new hours!

Yellow Magic is developing another new product for 2008 called "SalesMagic™." Essentially SalesMagic is a Sales Automation tool that will allow users to be able to make sales assignments directly onto a mobile device and track sales in the field in real-time. Online sales status reports are automatically generated and can be viewed from computer or mobile device.

10/14/2007 - Yellow Magic Announces Agreement with Alauras
On October 11th, Yellow Magic Incorporated announced a distribution agreement with Alauras Software, a leader in media software solutions and custom development.

Yellow Magic Inc Opens New Corporate Office - New Address!

With great anticipation of a new state-of-the-art Corporate Home Office, Yellow Magic Incorporated announces its purchase of a brand new 4,000 square foot office building in Murrieta, California with a move in-date of January 2, 2007.

Yellow Magic ART CONTEST!

With the grand opening of the new YM Home Office underway, the Yellow Magic staff thought if would be nice to frame some of your amazing graphic art designs of your Directory Covers from books that have been created with Yellow Magic, and for them to be displayed in our new office.

07/31/2008 - Exports Report #810 - Sales Report by Rep to Excel
Yellow Magic has programmed several new reports which were a part of the V2.1 Release. We want to make sure our customers know what is available and reports seem to get over looked. There are now over 240 reports which can easily help you report and in many cases now export the data you want.

11/01/2006 - RGB or CMYK -- Who cares?
That is correct. You can now define you colors in the command file in either RGB or CMYK. You will no longer need to define your colors only in RGB and then have Sleight of Hand convert them. You now can determine the percentage of cyan, magenta, yellow and black and place that in your command file.

07/31/2008 - New Features for SalesMagic
Yellow Magic has recently developed several new Features for SalesMagic, a mobile phone based sales automation tool. It allows sales reps to receive their sales leads on their mobile device, organize their appointments, get maps, correct listing information, and report the results of their sales call, all with their mobile device. Sales managers will love the real-time reporting and online graphs of up-to-the-minute sales activities. Not only have we continued to evolve the GUI based version, we now have an SMS-based version that will work without the need of an Internet connection or an upscale phone.


04/01/2008 - Yellow Magic News - April 2008
At the end of 2007 Yellow Magic announced a new partnership with Alaurus Software.  The company is bringing some new Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Ad Management products to the industry.

Their new online proofing product, ProofQuick, will be debuted at the two Yellow Pages Conferences this April.  The success of the ‘Enterprise’ level Ad Management Workflow solution has prompted the development of a 'lite' version for small and medium size publishers.

07/27/2006 - Yellow Magic Is Big Winner at YPA Convention
There was an abundance of Magic in Orlando in April and it had nothing to do Mickey Mouse or theme parks. YPA was in town and Yellow Magic was leading the parade.

The Yellow Magic team worked hard and had four awesome days. We had the industry talking and "Yellow Magic" was on everyone's lips.

10/14/2007 - YM is compatible with Audio and Video Ads (YPTV)
There has been a lot of discussion lately about “new” YPTV technology creating Video and Audio advertising revenue for Directory Publishers.  However, MagicCarpet for the Internet and CD ROM have supported these features for more than two years now!  It’s not “new” to us.


07/06/2007 - Importing Your Listings For Your Directory
When most of you are ready to import your listings for your directory, you will often send off the TelCo book (or the source book) to a keying agency such as Data Link or ASEC for them to key the yellow page listings. When these companies key the directory, a lot of times there will be exclusions or exceptions, headings in the source book that do no match your headings list. When this happens, the keying company sends you a file listing of the headings that have to be researched.
